The Women's Business Center of South Carolina is dedicated to opening the doors of opportunity to professional women and women entrepreneurs. We provide tools to pursue, strengthen, and expand the business acumen of women through education, skill development, targeted programs, and other resources to achieve their goals.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Women’s Business Center is to empower women personally and professionally through education, entrepreneurial and professional programs, and professional skill development.

The WBC is divided into two sections: Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Development.

Women's Entrepreneural Workshop

The WBC is partnering with South Carolina Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) to host an information session on what you need to know to start your own business. SBDC provides invaluable support to entrepreneurs and small business owners, offering resources, guidance, and information to help them succeed.

Entrepreneurship Section

For those women who wish to establish enterprises, the WBC helps them through providing education and resources, including programs that will take the entrepreneur from concept, product development, financing, marketing, market introduction and beyond.

Professional Skills Development Section

For those women in business, who do not plan to go into entrepreneurship, but wish to advance their position and responsibility within their organization, professional skill development is key. Companies seek individuals with talent, ability and skills to help the organization to grow at all levels. The WBC offers programs to develop and hone professional skills highly sought by corporations.
