Mission Statement

The mission of the Women’s Business Center is to empower women personally and professionally through education, entrepreneurial and professional programs, and professional skill development.

The WBC is divided into two sections: Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Development.

Entrepreneurship Section: For those women who wish to establish enterprises, the WBC helps them through providing education and resources, including programs that will take the entrepreneur from concept, product development, financing, marketing, market introduction and beyond.

Professional Skill Development Section: For those women in business, who do not plan to go into entrepreneurship, but wish to advance their position and responsibility within their organization, professional skill development is key. Companies seek individuals with talent, ability and skills to help the organization to grow at all levels. The WBC offers programs to develop and hone professional skills highly sought by corporations.
